Boxing fans have been left stunned by the unique physique difference between Tyson Fury and his younger brother Tommy.

After recently announcing his return to the ring, ‘TNT’ is set to make the walk to the ring later this evening in Budapest, Hungary. Fury, 26, hasn’t fought since he scored a points victory over social media sensation KSI in 2023. He was ruled out for the whole of 2024 after recovering from surgery.

‘TNT’ was due to take on former UFC title challenger Darren Till earlier this year, but pulled out of the contest after his rival threatened to kick him in the head. Now, he is expected to go head-to-head with Bosnian boxer Kenan Hanjalic. With Fury eager to dust off the cobwebs tonight, the Brit is hoping a win will kickstart a successful 2025 in the ring.

Ahead of his fight later this evening, Fury celebrated his 26th birthday during fight week and was quick to share a quick birthday picture. The Brit uploaded a picture of himself topless in a lift – appearing to be fight ready. He captioned the post: “26 years young today. In the thick of a training camp but feeling the best I’ve felt in a long time.”

Immediately, fans quickly raced to the comments section and shared their thoughts about Fury’s current condition. One fan even brought in his older brother Tyson into the discussion, saying: “How him and Tyson have the same genetics is baffling.” The majority were left stunned by his physique, with one posting: “Physique is crazy, mad genetics.”

Another fan commented: “Physique on point.” Another user was quick to throw a verbal jab at Fury when comparing him to the ‘Gypsy King’: “Tbh I think you gas out quick when you’re that cut up. You got no energy reserves. You start burning muscle, etc. Terrible for your performance. This is why Tyson can get up when he gets knocked down. He’s not dehydrated and cut up.”

With Fury full of confidence ahead of fight night, the British star was eager to throw a subtle dig at rivals KSI and Jake Paul. Speaking to Good Morning Britain on Wednesday, the youngster quickly discussed his upcoming foe, while also throwing a stinging verbal jab at the aforementioned names. “I’ve got a proper legitimate fighter in front of me on Friday, there’s no YouTubers…he’s not phased by who I am and the name I’ve got, he’s coming to fight,” he said.

Earlier in the interview, the 26-year-old revealed that he’s living the best year of his life after struggling with his split from Molly Mae and falling into a “dark place” over a hand injury. “Being in a position where boxing is everything, the fact that I couldn’t do that or get out of bed in the morning and did what made me happy, I just thought, ‘Sod it all.’ You go down that dark route for a few weeks and you end up staying down there for a long time and that has consequences,” he said.

“Like I said, 2024 was the worst year of my life and this year is going to be the best year of my life. It starts on Friday, I’ve turned it all around. I’m happy mentally now. I feel like you’ve got to go through these challenges in life, everyone’s got a hard life so it’s all about that I’ve come through this.”
