Gervonta Davis’ rematch with Lamont Roach has been delayed.
The PBC pay-per-view show was initially set to fall on June 21 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

However, Ring Magazine is reporting that the fight will now take place on August 16.
The report didn’t go on to reveal the exact venue, although it is mooted to remain in Sin City.
Davis and Roach boxed to a contentious majority draw during their inaugural encounter last March after the latter was wrongfully denied a knockdown in round nine.
After eating a grazing jab, Davis took a knee before walking over to his corner to get a piece of debris wiped from his eye.
Referee Steve Willis initially administered a count before breaking it off and allowing the action to resume.
It ultimately cost Roach the fight, with two of the judges scoring the fight 114-114 even while a third had 115-113 in Davis’ favour.
Had the ninth round been rightfully scored a 10-8, Roach would have got his hand raised and been crowned the new WBA lightweight champion.
As the dust settled, Roach’s team lodged an appeal to the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) to have the draw overturned.
But the result was upheld following an official enquiry.
The NYSAC declared that, as more than three rounds were remaining in the fight, the referee’s call was ‘not outcome-determinative’.

Reacting to the decision, Roach’s attorney, Gregory M Smith, said: “Lamont and his team remain disappointed by the announced outcome and the lack of action by the commission.
“But grateful for the support of the boxing public.
“Lamont is confident that a rematch will end with a victory, but until then, he is the people’s champion at 135 pounds.”
Roach remains the WBA super featherweight champion but will get a second crack at the lightweight belt this summer when he runs it back with Davis.
‘Tank’ had been in negotiations to box Jake Paul next in a bizarre crossover clash.
However, his draw with Roach spoiled those plans.
