Jake Paul has a long list of boxers queuing up to fight him.

The popular content creator faces former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on June 28 in Anaheim, California, in what is, at least on paper, his toughest test to date.

Despite this, ‘The Problem Child’ is all too happy to look beyond his upcoming clash and begin plotting his next steps in the paid ranks.

“We’re in discussions with a lot of names,” Paul told the Schmo.

“Gervonta Davis, Anthony Joshua, Badou Jack, Ryan Garcia, KSI, Tommy Fury.

“So there are a lot of people on the hit list, but Badou Jack excites me a lot.

“I definitely want to be a world champion, so going after Badou (WBC) or Zurdo [Ramirez] (WBA and WBO) sounds like a good game plan to me.”

Badou Jack recently retained his WBC cruiserweight title by beating Noel Mikaelian on the Canelo Alvarez vs William Scull undercard in Saudi Arabia.

The 41-year-old has expressed interest in defending his green and gold strap against the YouTuber-turned-boxer, while WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman has previously put Paul’s name forward to be ranked by the major sanctioning body at 200lbs.

Jack said of a fight with Paul: “I never heard about that, whatever. It’s a money fight.

“It’s an easy fight, and it’s a money fight. So, why not?”

The one on Paul’s list that looks most likely, should he get his hand raised against Chavez Jr, is Gervonta Davis.

Paul was desperately close to finalising terms for an exhibition bout with the WBA lightweight champion in March.

All Davis needed to do was beat Lamont Roach in what many expected to be a routine title defence.

However, Roach proved to be a much trickier customer than Davis had bargained for, holding ‘Tank’ to a majority draw.

The pair are now set to rematch on August 16 in Las Vegas.

Providing Davis is able to rewrite the wrong, he could walk straight into a fight with Paul in November, according to the man himself.

“We’re working on it behind the scenes to make that happen,” said Paul.

“Obviously, that’s a fight where the fans are going to win and it’s going to be the biggest event of the year…

“We’re working on [the weight]. It will be an exhibition, most likely…

“It was highly talked about and in negotiations and almost ready to make happen.

“But [Davis] now has to do his rematch with Lamont and get that W, then we can run it back. But me and Gervonta were scheduled to fight for sure.”

Undoubtedly, the toughest fight on Paul’s list is a dust-up with Anthony Joshua.

The pair recently had a phone call to discuss the fight after Paul insisted he would knock out the two-time heavyweight world champion.

“We’re going to plan that for 2026. I talked to Anthony on the phone,” said Paul.

“He called me up and said, ‘I saw you call me out, let’s run it. Let’s make it happen.’”
