*Kanye West (AKA Ye) has once again ignited controversy, this time over comments he made about his 12-year-old daughter, North West, during a livestream.

The rapper disclosed personal details about his daughter’s health, including claims that she has dyslexia and is having problems with her bowel movements. Social media users have criticized West for violating his daughter’s privacy, arguing that sensitive matters like this shouldn’t be made public. Many also pointed out that he’s potentially setting North up to be teased at school.

Ye’s comments have reignited attention on North’s past social media moments. In October 2023, North herself mentioned having dyslexia during a TikTok livestream shared with her mother, Kim Kardashian. As an episode of The Kardashians played in the background, North casually told viewers, “Guys, I have dyslexia. Do you even know what that is?”

Her mother, appearing caught off guard, replied lightheartedly, “Northie, you are sure spilling the tea on here.” But the mood quickly shifted when North asked if she should “drop an album,” prompting Kim to threaten to end the stream. “I am going to get off this live right now because you are just saying way too much. I purposely don’t talk about stuff that you are going through,” Kardashian said, highlighting her desire to protect her daughter’s privacy.

Meanwhile, Ye’s statements are the latest in a series of controversies surrounding the hip-hop star. In recent months, he has made headlines for his public battles over custody issues with his Kardashian, his provocative song “Heil Hitler,” and inflammatory social media posts.

Earlier this year, West voiced his opposition to Kardashian’s move to trademark their daughter’s name, North West, without his knowledge. The rapper expressed his frustration on X (formerly Twitter), sharing an excerpt from a legal document that stated Kardashian had exclusive rights to the trademarks associated with their daughter’s name. West accused Kardashian of not informing him about the trademark arrangement, asking, “How do you guys feel about this?”

Kardashian responded with an explanation, claiming that the move was made to protect their children’s names from being exploited by others, particularly in light of the public fallout surrounding their family’s business dealings. The disagreement soon escalated, with West threatening “war” if the trademark issue was not amended.

West also aired his grievances about his parenting role, alleging that forces within the “Kardashian mob,” including major media companies like Hulu and Disney, were working to strip him of his influence over his children. He compared his access to his kids to “visitation,” likening it to being in prison.

In the wake of his latest remarks, West continues to stir up controversy, drawing intense reactions for his disregard for his daughter’s privacy and his ongoing public disputes with Kardashian.
