The custody battle rumors between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian reportedly have the rapper wanting his ex-wife to delete their kids’ photos from social media. Happenings from the past couple of weeks hinted at a failing agreement between the ex-couple, with recent reports suggesting they might be heading toward a contentious dispute over the custody of their children.

West and Kardashian’s supposed feud began after the former released a track featuring North West, despite agreeing not to during a mediation. The song also included a segment featuring a phone conversation between the rapper and Sean “Diddy” Combs, now in prison on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. More recently, he seemingly accused his ex-wife of breaching their “joint custody agreement.”

RadarOnline learned from a source that Kanye West threatened Kim Kardashian with his intentions to seek sole custody of their four kids — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. A friend with knowledge of the matter revealed that the rapper believes his former spouse “exploited” their eldest daughter, North West, for “personal or commercial gain” after she took the 11-year-old to the Met Gala 2025. West claimed this happened without authorization and didn’t comply with their divorce settlement agreement.

Although North didn’t attend the red carpet event, Kardashian shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos of her on social media. Some of these Instagram posts have racked up hundreds of thousands of likes and comments. The insider revealed that this prompted West’s lawyers to notify the SKIMS founder about his beliefs surrounding the “unauthorized exposure.” In addition, he expressed his fear for North’s safety when her mom left her unattended in the vehicle.

The source claimed Kanye West informed Kim Kardashian about his objection to flaunting their kids on social media platforms. He reportedly wants the reality star to delete all “content of the children she has posted without his consent” and to halt “publishing photos and videos” of them on social media. Furthermore, West advised Kardashian to seek his “prior written consent” in case their kids attend public events.

Finally, the 47-year-old musician wants Kardashian to “facilitate regular and unimpeded access” to their four children. As per the source, this also includes “immediate in-person visitation,” especially after he claimed that he has been denied “meaningful access to his children” and has had “no contact” with their son, Saint, this year. His claims brought up “unreasonably restricted” interactions with the kids, which seemingly violate their “custody agreement’s provisions for equal parental access and decision-making.”
