Chris Eubank Jr’s manager has confirmed that he’s looking to get a rematch with adversary Conor Benn fixed for September 27.

Get through that and Canelo could await for Eubank Jr
Elliott Amoakoh, who handles Eubank Jr, made the extraordinary claim on talkSPORT’s Fight Night Daily Podcast as he mapped out what could be a very exciting future for the 35-year-old.
After a spellbinding first bout with enemy Benn in April, fans demanded he and Eubank Jr duke it once more.
It emerged last month that the wishes of the fans are being granted with talks over the rematch beginning, and Amoakoh confirmed Eubank Jr wants this to be his next fight.
Amoakoh also explained why Eubank Jr isn’t targeting going into a world title showdown.
“I’ve had conversations with Chris, presented some fighters to him and the fight he wants next is Conor Benn,” Amoakoh said.
“So we’ll sit down with the guys at Ring Magazine and strike out a deal if that makes sense.”
“To be honest with you, a lot of these champions ask for unrealistic purses to fight Chris,” Amoakoh continued.
“In the 160lbs division Chris is seen as the payday opponent, so Chris could want fights against the champions, but when they are fighting Chris they want times three, times four, how much money they would normally get to take a fight.
“So they don’t have the name like a Conor Benn to generate the money like an Eubank-Benn does. So Chris is in a sticky situation to where for a title fight for Chris we’ve got to go for Canelo.”
And should Eubank Jr get past Benn again, a fight with WBC, WBA, and WBO super middleweight champion Canelo will await – by order of arguably boxing’s most powerful man in Alalshikh.

After confirming Eubank Jr will look to fight Canelo at 160lbs, Amoakoh revealed the Saudi boxing chief will pull the strings to get Eubank Jr that title shot.
When asked if Eubank Jr vs Canelo is realistic, Amoakoh said: “100 per cent.
“Hopefully Canelo gets through Terence Crawford, we get through Conor Benn and then they’ll do it next. So that’s the negotiations that’s going on right now.”
“Turki promised it to us,” Amoakoh added.
“If Chris Eubank Jr comes through that, Eubank Jr-Canelo, here we go. That’s what we want, we get through Conor Benn and then we want Canelo.”
