Khloé Kardashian’s daughter True knows how to make her mom’s heart skip a beat – and not in the way she was hoping!

On Thursday, May 29, the Khloé in Wonderland host shared a video on her Instagram Stories to explain her 7-year-old’s latest prank.

“True is really into charms and she loves accessorizing her backpack, and apparently she loves accessorizing my purse because I just saw that she put this on my purse – this whale key chain,” Kardashian, 40, said, while zooming in on the blue bedazzled whale chain on her Louis Vuitton cherry-themed designer bag.

Kardashian, who has been vocal about her fear of whales on several occasions, continued: “She knows and she does this. Because we have unicorn keychains, or hearts, or puppies, or anything. She gives me a whale. Oh, I can’t wait until she gets out of school, and I get to ask her about the whale. Why?”

After True returned from school, Khloé shared another clip of her daughter holding a pink, bedazzled unicorn charm.

“I have this unicorn that mommy gave me,” True said when her mom asked what she was holding in her hands.

“Is it to replace this wackadoodle?” Kardashian asked, adding, “Should I just tell you that I love whales? I should tell you that.”

In September 2023, the Good American co-founder further elaborated about her phobia on X.

“This has been a phobia of mine for years,” she wrote. “I don’t want anything bad to happen to whales and I know the phobia is totally irrational, but we don’t pick our phobias. I low-key have a fear of the ocean, but a whale I can’t even look at, it freaks me out so much.”

Kardashian’s aforementioned tweet was published the same day season 4, episode 1, of The Kardashians was released on Hulu. In the premiere episode, the Kardashian-Jenner clan took a family trip to Cabo, where Kardashian once again came face to face with her fear.

In the scene, Kardashian looked out at the ocean with a pair of binoculars from the safety of the house they were staying at. “Why is this whale season?” she questioned with a concern in her voice.

“What are they doing? Mating? I don’t know. That’s sick. And why do they come to the shore? That is way too close for my comfort.”

After sister Kim Kardashian pointed out that she saw a few whales in the water herself, Khloé backed away from the glass door, dropped her binoculars and screamed while sitting on the bed.

“Oh my God! That was actually terrible.”

Last month, Kardashian celebrated True’s seventh birthday with an epic party featuring Rainbow Friends-themed decorations. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum – who shares True and her 2-year-old son Tatum with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson – shared Instagram Stories videos of the “neon party” with slime that “glows in the dark.”
