Fight week continues in London ahead of this weekend’s undisputed world heavyweight title fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois, and the fighters are starting to get in some verbal jabs before the highly anticipated bout.

Usyk vs Dubois 2 | SUN 20 JULY 4AM AEST | Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois meet for the second time, with the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship on the line | Order now with Main Event on Kayo Sports

On Tuesday, Usyk and Dubois participated in another build-up event ahead of Sunday’s (AEST) massive encounter, with the champions meeting just outside the venue for their upcoming bout, Wembley Stadium.

And each man delivered a message to the other, with Usyk taking to social media to warn Dubois that he is “focused” ahead of their rematch.

Dubois, the hometown fighter and current IBF titleholder who lost to Usyk in their previous clash two years ago, chose to deliver his message directly to the WBA, WBC and WBO champion.

Standing face-to-face with Usyk at the base of the steps leading to Wembley, Dubois shouted, “And the new!” at his opponent three times before striking a pose in front of the 38-year-old.

While both men are world champions, Usyk is the only heavyweight fighter to hold the distinction of undisputed in two decades after defeating Tyson Fury in early 2024. The Ukrainian then vacated the IBF title to pursue a rematch with Fury, opening the door for Dubois to become the full champion of that organisation.

Now, Dubois has boldly predicted that he will become the newest undisputed ruler of the heavyweight division on Sunday.
