Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian both grew up in Beverly Hills, USA. The two girls attended different high schools but they had a friend in common, Nicole Richie.

In 2003, Kim Kardashian appeared on the hit reality show The Simple Life with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. One of the most iconic moments from the show that is still remembered by TV viewers to this day was when Kim Kardashian cleaned and organized Paris Hilton’s closet.

For quite a while, wherever Paris Hilton appeared, she went with Kim Kardashian and as Kim Kardashian shared with Rolling Stone magazine: “We would go anywhere just to be seen by reporters. I love it, but people always make the mistake of thinking of me as Paris’s assistant.”
