Paris Hilton: ‘I was sexually abused at school’

Paris Hilton said she was sexually harassed by staff at a boarding school in Utah when she was a student.

According to Pagesix, the DJ said in an interview published on October 11: “Around 3-4am, they took me and several other female students to a room for a medical examination. The examination was not performed by doctors. Some school staff made us lie on the table so they could use their fingers to search and insert them into us. I don’t know what they were doing at that time, but they were definitely not doctors.”

Paris Hilton explained the reason for bringing up the past: “It was all very scary. Those were things I kept hidden for many years. However, I kept remembering them. Thinking back as an adult, I am sure it was sexual abuse.”

On her personal page, she described the incident in more detail: “I cried and kept protesting when they held me down. They told me to shut up or I would be punished. I think I need to share these stories to heal myself and help stop the abuse.”

At the age of 17, Hilton’s parents sent her to Provo boarding school in Utah for 11 months because she often ran away from home to party. At the end of 2020, DJ released the documentary This is Paris, revealing her dark time there. She said she was abused and beaten by school staff many times. Paris compared her experience at Provo to One Flew Over a Cuckoo’s Nest – a classic film about mental patients being abused by doctors.

According to USA Today, a representative of Provo school said that the previous owner sold the school in 2000 and could not respond to Paris’s allegations. This person affirmed that the school meets the requirements of the Utah state government and always takes the protection of students from bullying seriously.

Paris Hilton, born in 1981, is the granddaughter of the Hilton hotel owner. Since her teens, she has entered the entertainment industry with many roles such as model, singer, actress, author and TV star. Hilton was one of the most notable stars in Hollywood in the 2000s, famous for her scandals and liberal lifestyle.

In an interview with Times magazine, Hilton said she hopes Carter Reum will become the father of her children in the future. “I finally met my perfect other half. He is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with and build a family with,” she said.
