Hoda Kotb seemed to stir up some romance rumors after her recent outing to the Super Bowl.

The star cozied up with Kevin Costner during football’s biggest night as she shared a picture of the them together in her Instagram round up. In the snap, Hoda, who recently stepped away from the Today show, wore an off-white blouse with a few rhinestones sewn onto the material paired with carefully layered necklaces. Wearing her hair down, she stood with a shimmering smile as she placed one arm around Kevin.

The actor also appeared all smiles as a grin spread across his unshaven face. Kevin wore a white button shirt with a pair of dark shades covering his eyes. While the two were seen in the picture, they weren’t spotted sitting together during the big game. Instead, Kevin was seated next to comedian Pete Davidson.

Hoda’s former Today co-host, Savannah Guthrie, drew attention to the potential fling, writing in the comments: “New couple alert cc @jennabhager.”

Fans were excited to see Hoda and Kevin together as they wondered if there was a chance they could become an item. “Hoda!! Kevin Costner is single I see a little chemistry there,” penned one fan in the comments. Another said: “”Hoda single and Kevin single…..

Hoda became single in 2022 when she split from Joel Schiffman. Their divorce, though, was left on relatively good terms as Hoda has been vocal about that era of her life. In Aug. 2024, she said on the Jamie Kern Lima Show that they were just in “different places,” adding: “Joel is one of the best people I know. He really is a great human being and I feel like I’m a great human being. But sometimes two great human beings together isn’t enough to make it work.”

On top of Hoda’s relationship status, Kevin’s drew more attention to the potential pairing. Kevin and Christine Baumgartner finalized their divorce in Feb. 2024, making him newly available, but open to moving on. On CBS Mornings, he said: “That’s a crushing moment. It’s powerful. It hurt, but I go forward.”
