The 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is sure to turn heads every time it hits the road. The 66-year-old classic has been fully restored and is set to go up for auction in mid-March.

The 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air was framed off, wheels replaced, and a 525-horsepower 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine was fitted, paired with a GM 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a limited-slip differential. RK Motors Performance Center was responsible for all of the work.

While there’s no mention of the performance capabilities of this Chevrolet Bel Air, it appears to be faster than many modern sports cars today.

During the restoration, RK Motors fitted the car with an Art Morrison frame and suspension from a C4 Chevrolet Corvette . The “classic” also had power steering racks and Baer power disc brakes at all four wheels.

A lot of other changes also took place in the cabin, and the unit that carried out the work was Chucks Hot Rod Interiors. The interior was refreshed with green leather and gray on the seats, door panels and dashboard.

The car also features a modern sound system, telescopic steering wheel, air conditioning, and billet aluminum gauges. Overall, the car looks brand new, having only driven 1,100 miles since its restoration.
