The New Orleans Pelicans star has been struggling with issues regarding his weight. Listed with the NBA as 284 pounds, Williamson has been trying hard to get his weight down. Infact, he has also been given a warning by his team. Williamson has been told that there will be a reduction of 20% in salary if he fails to keep his body weight under the 295-pound mark. Thankfully, Williamson’s efforts have seemingly bore him some rich fruits.

In a recent update shared by Michael Wright, Zion Williamson has reportedly lost a good 20 pounds of body fat. Weighing in at 264 pounds, this is the lightest that Williamson has weighed since his induction into the Pelicans’ roster in 2019.

Surely, this season has been turning out quite well for the Pelicans’ star. Williamson has been averaging a solid 27.1 points with 6.7 rebounds per game in his last 10 matches. He even dropped 40 points in one of the games. Meanwhile, the news of Williamson dropping so much weight exploded on the internet.

A third fan opined, “Fit Zion is scary.”
