Hollywood’s former power couple, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have officially ended their marriage, with reports suggesting that Ben is now ‘casually dating’.

The 52-year-old actor is reportedly testing the waters of the dating world again after his marriage to JLo fell apart, leading to a legal separation.

The duo tied the knot in 2022 but were only married for two years before the actress and singer filed for divorce in August 2024. Despite going on a few dates, sources suggest that dating isn’t Ben’s main focus right now as he’s heavily invested in his work.

An insider revealed: “This doesn’t seem to be a focus though.”

The source further told PEOPLE that the big screen star is “very focused on work,” and “if he’s not filming, he spends long days at his office.

It’s also reported that Ben is spending quality time with his children, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, with the source noting that “they are very close”. Now legally single after filing their settlement on January 6, 55-year-old singer JLo has shared her feelings about the end of her fourth marriage, reports the Mirror.

In an interview with Interview magazine, Jennifer expressed: “It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate. But when you sit in those feelings and go, ‘These things are not going to kill me,’ it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself. Being in a relationship doesn’t define me.

“I can’t be looking for happiness in other people. I have to have happiness within myself. I used to say I’m a happy person, but was still looking for something for somebody else to fill, and it’s just like, ‘No, I’m actually good.’”

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is reportedly feeling “exhausted” from the stress of divorce and is hesitant about diving into another serious relationship.
