Unlike what many might think, Jennifer Lopez is enjoying her first Valentine’s Day as a single woman this year, and she did it in a fun way.

JLo published a note on her Instagram Stories and on her Facebook account on Friday in which she appears in a bright pink dress and a matching furry coat.

And on the image, she makes a joke about being single: “My Valentine’s Day playlist: Self-Love Don’t Cost A Thing”, and links to a playlist on Spotify, a great Valentine’s Day gift for all her followers.

The 55-year-old actress made a play on words with her successful 2001 song Love Don’t Cost A Thing, after she finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck late last year, after two years of marriage and an almost four-year relationship.

Like JLo, Affleck also spent his first Valentine’s Day alone, and unlike his ex, the actor was quite busy with the promotion of his new action movie, The Accountant 2.

The film takes place eight years after the events that took place in the first installment of The Accountant.

The plot centers on the character of Ben, Christian Wolff, and his brother Brax, played by Jon Bernthal.

Christian, a forensic accountant, tries to help solve the murder of a Treasury agent, working with his brother Brax despite their estrangement.

The film is scheduled to be released on April 25, 2025, and stars J.K. Simmons, Danielle Pineda, Grant Harvey and Cynthia Addai-Robinson

The Accountant 2 is directed by Gavin O’Connor and written by Bill Dubuque, who also served as director and writer of The Accountant, released in 2016.

Jennifer, 55, and Ben, who married in 2022, have already completed the divorce proceedings and will officially end their marriage on February 20, when each will take what they acquired individually during their brief union, according to DailyMail.com.

The couple also reached an agreement over the $61 million Beverly Hills mansion they bought together, although the terms will remain private.

The former couple married without a prenuptial agreement, with an accumulated wealth of $550 million, of which $400 million corresponds to Lopez’s assets.
