For those who need a quick reminder, Kelly and Brandon were married for seven years before parting ways in 2020. When their divorce was finalized in 2022, Kelly was granted primary custody of their two kids, River Rose and Remington Alexander.

During their marriage, Brandon also managed Kelly’s professional career under his dad Narvel Blackstock’s company, Starstruck Management Group.

Shortly after Kelly filed for divorce, Starstruck sued Kelly for alleged unpaid commissions and an apparent breach of her agreement. The singer countersued, eventually winning a $2.6-million legal ruling against Brandon toward the end of 2023 after a California labor commissioner ruled that he had overstepped his managerial role when securing four of her business deals.

Earlier this year, Kelly filed a new case accusing Brandon and his father’s firm of violating state labor rules. In May, the exes quietly settled the suit.

Throughout their messy legal battle, Kelly did not shy away from throwing shade at Brandon publicly.

During a now-viral performance on her self-titled talk show in March 2023, Kelly tweaked the lyrics of Gayle’s “ABCDEFU” to seemingly reference Brandon and his dad. “Forget you and your dad and the fact that you got half / And my broken heart, turn that shit into art,” she sang.

Kelly also appeared to reference her divorce throughout her 2023 album, chemistry.

And it looks like Kelly isn’t quite finished throwing shade, with the singer seemingly making another jab at her ex this week.

A new visualizer for her album When Christmas Comes Around… Again shared to Kelly’s official YouTube page shows four stockings hanging above a fireplace. Three of them read, “Mom,” “River,” and “Remy,” while the last one reads, “Nope.”

Fans quickly put two and two together and flocked to the comments to respond to the apparent jab.

“NOPE. I feel you, Kelly,” someone wrote, while another added, “WHOAH! That ‘nope’ is crazy.”

“Look at the names on the sock!!!” one user observed. Another pointed out, “Mom, River, Remy, Nope.”

“NOPE!!! I’m dying over here!!! Love it!” one more user said, while some fans branded the video and song “healing.”
