Every relationship has rules and boundaries in place, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have a slightly unusual one. Female flight attendants are reportedly banned from her private planes. One of the many rules Jennifer Lopez has in place for her husband, is linked to the behavior of her former partner.

According to a Fox News article, Jennifer Lopez was so angry after finding out that her then-husband Marc Anthony had an alleged fling with a flight attendant that she banned women from working on her private planes. Lopez and Anthony split in 2012 after eight years together, citing irreconcilable differences.

This alleged affair caused the Maid in Manhattan actress to become wary of female flight attendants. “She hates flight attendants because her ex-husband Marc Anthony had an affair with one when they were married,” an anonymous source revealed.

Why Jennifer Lopez’s Flight Attendant Rule Began

Several corporate flight attendants came forward and revealed that Jennifer Lopez does not allow female associates to work on her flights. “J. Lo won’t let female flight attendants work. She brings her own male flight attendant, who is not a flight attendant, but a ‘personal assistant’.”

Another attendant claimed that Lopez forced the plane to turn around because of this rule. “After completely taking out everything in the drawers to fill them with all her preferred items, I was told I had to fly home because she didn’t want a female flight attendant… only to have to come back and Uber to the airplane and reset my items because it was only a one-way flight.”

Jennifer Lopez has a history of diva behavior with flight attendants. Recently, a male United Airlines flight attendant claimed in an interview with Star Magazine that Lopez was rude to him and refused to acknowledge his existence.

“I just said, what can I get you to drink? But Jennifer refused to even acknowledge me. She turned her head away and told her personal assistant, please tell him I’d like a Diet Coke and lime. She wouldn’t even look at me. It was sad; she seems so sweet in her movies.”

In another 2006 post, a stewardess claims she was insulted by the superstar when she couldn’t make her a specialty coffee mid-air. The “On The Floor” singer is said to have flown into a rage after she asked for a double espresso and was told they couldn’t make her one.

In addition to Jennifer Lopez’s rule for no female flight attendants, Lopez also has other restrictions for Ben Affleck, including what he consumes. Before Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck wed, she allegedly declared that the actor had to be in the best physical shape. After the couple rekindled their relationship, Jennifer Lopez put Ben Affleck on a strict diet and workout regime. “When they first started dating, Ben was up at 5 a.m., hitting the gym with J.Lo,” a source revealed.

“J.Lo has told him this is unacceptable. She expects him to pick up the slack and wants him working out every day and eating right, no excuses,” a source told Star. On July 16, 2022, the pair exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Las Vegas.

Jennifer Lopez has also put her foot down when it comes to Ben Affleck drinking. The hitmaker and former American Idol judge is not a fan of drinking and smoking and has always had a “three drinks per day” limit regarding alcohol. But it’s also been reported that this rule has changed completely to no drinks due to Ben Affleck’s past addiction to alcohol.

It seems to have been working, as insiders have revealed that Ben Affleck has changed his lifesyle. “Ben used to only go outside to pick up his Dunkin’ deliveries and fast-food deliveries. Munchkins for days,” an insider explained, “Now, he’s going outside to sit for a nice breakfast with Jennifer on the patio with avocado toast, granola and berries.”

But it’s clearly working, as he is reportedly the happiest he has ever been. “He really wants to take care of himself for Jennifer and the kids and be really present, and he does feel his best when he’s working out with a trainer and eating right.”

It has been reported that Jennifer Lopez has a few rules set in place for Ben Affleck, especially regarding his workplace behavior. It has been rumored that Affleck will be reunited with ex-wife Jennifer Garner for Deadpool 3, where they will be stepping back into their Daredevil characters.

“J.Lo wants 24/7 access to the set and to be able to drop in unannounced,” a source told Woman’s Day. “There are to be no promo joint interviews and or photoshoots, and no after-work socializing. She wants Ben home as soon as he’s done filming.”

The couple have apparently put these rules in place to “keep themselves accountable and to remind them that their relationship always comes first.” The pair admit that their previous relationships have struggled due to this.
