After being in the news for having a rift with the team coach, the Suns superstar dismissed any such claims.

Recently, Booker took to the media to debunk any such reports that hint he is on the other side of the conversion with the Suns HC. Booker honestly vocal-led about the player-coach composition while dishing out rumors that are sparking curiosity among his fans.

“We’ve had multiple conversations. I can’t seem to find one that sticks out more than the others. It’s a player/coach relationship. When things start going bad, everybody tries to point fingers to find out what’s wrong. People are going to come up with stuff. The relationship is great. We’re on the same page, we’re trying to win, and that’s that,” Booker said during his conversation with the media.

Though the Phoenix fans are now at ease with finally finding it all good between the two. But the last few days left them puzzled. NBA insider Chris Haynes earlier reported that Budenholzer had expressed concerns about Booker’s strong vocal presence on the court. According to Haynes, Budenholzer called Booker into his office to talk about how he’d like the talented guard to “tone it down” during games and timeouts.

Following a tough 124-116 loss to the Pelicans, Booker opened up about the importance of communication on the basketball court. He believes that shying away from discussions when things get rough is counterproductive. “It can be fixed with a little more talking,” he said, emphasizing that even the occasional disagreement can be healthier for a team than silence.

NBA Insider Hints Suns Planning Big For Devin Booker And Kevin Durant

Now that it’s clear between Devin Booker and the Suns head coach, the team is planning big around their star power. NBA insider Shams Charania has dropped hints that the Suns are contemplating significant changes to their roster centered around Booker and Kevin Durant.

Prior to the recent trade deadline, a potential trade involving Durant did not materialize, as he felt it wasn’t the right time for such a move. However, with the Suns struggling this season and currently sitting at 28-32, the organization appears ready to explore a different path as they approach the offseason.

Meanwhile, Devin Booker remains a key figure for Phoenix, with Charania noting that the team has no intention of moving him. Instead, Booker’s commitment to the Suns reinforces their plans to build a competitive roster around him.

“Any trade that the Suns would make with Kevin Durant that would be to retool, as of right now, around Devin Booker and figure out how can they stay competitive around him,” Charania recently said.

Charania reports that the Suns are open to trading Durant this summer, especially if the team fails to make a meaningful playoff push in the coming weeks. While Durant was caught off guard by previous trade discussions, this offseason may be different. The Suns intend to work collaboratively with Durant on any potential trades, targeting contending teams that may be interested in acquiring the superstar.
