Alec Baldwin‘s wife Hilaria got the best of her husband in a new Instagram video after their cringey red carpet confrontation last week.

In a clip of the couple in bed, she took the A-list star to task for ‘manterrupting’ her during a red carpet interview that went viral.

The bashful 66-year-old 30 Rock star admitting in the clip that he suffers from ‘correctile dysfunction,’ though it was clearly Hilaria, 41, who was dictating the terms of the apology.

The video opened with Alec and Hilaria lip syncing to audio of the original red carpet confrontation — except that they had switched roles, and it was Alec lip syncing as his wife and vice versa.

Then they launched into a patronizing back-and-forth, with the yoga teacher–turned–reality star cuing up her husband’s responses.

‘And that is called — what’s the word of the day?’ Hilaria began after the audio had ended, setting Alec up to wearily reply, ‘Manterrupting.’

Hilaria added that the term could be ‘a positive, or a negative, or a —’ before she turned to Alec, who bashfully replied that it could be an example of ‘correctile dysfunction.’

The couple were in danger of their children erupting into the room, as someone began banging on the door in the background, so Hilaria cut to the chase.

‘So, the whole point is that we interrupt each other all the time,’ she explained.

The celebrity couple then burst out laughing, as one of their many children had finally managed to get into the bedroom and had interrupted them by calling out for their ‘mommy.’

Despite the overbearing nature of the video, Alec and Hilaria concluded it with an affectionate display to show that she wasn’t too upset of their red carpet row.

She leaned over to plant a kiss on her husband’s lips, before one of their sons hopped into bed with them.

‘Give me a kiss, just so you know I’m not [mad at you],’ she began before cutting herself off with the lip lock.

‘Oh, I’m so happy you kissed me,’ Alec whispered sweetly as they pulled apart.

‘Oh, I’m so happy you kissed me,’ Alec whispered sweetly as they pulled apart

The TV personality — who previously addressed the controversy over her ‘fake’ Spanish accent — was talking to Extra at the grand re-opening of Planet Hollywood in New York City last week alongside the actor when the original exchange took place.

The pair were discussing whether a second season of their TLC reality show The Baldwins was possibly in the works, following the premiere on February 23.

In a snippet of the interview that was shared to TikTok, the interviewer questioned if viewers could expect season two and Hilaria took a moment before answering.

Alec jumped in and quipped, ‘The Hilaria Show,’ and she then added, ‘No, I think we are going to see, you know, we’re going to see how it feels to be out there.’

The 30 Rock star then cut in to say, ‘It’s gonna be great. You’re a winner,’ which caused his wife to turn around and express, ‘Oh my God. When I’m talking, you’re not talking.’

‘I’m sorry,’ Baldwin said and Hilaria then repeated while holding her hands up, ‘When I’m talking, you’re not talking.’

She turned back to face the interviewer and joked, ‘This is why we’ll just have to cut him out of the show.’

After a brief second, Hilaria let out a small laugh and added, ‘No, I mean I think this is a really raw show and it’s very real and we took a lot of chances and we’ll see where it leads us.

Elsewhere in the interview, Alec discussed the difference between unscripted television and reading from a script.

In regards to their normal daily life and routine, the star explained that he feels the ‘desire to make it more silly than it might be.’

Hilaria cut in to say that she doesn’t feel like her husband makes the show ‘silly’ and he replied with, ‘I try. You didn’t get that on the show?’

She answered, ‘No. We just cut all that part out. We cut you out, when you’re tying to make it silly…’

As Hilaria continued to open up about the series, she then accused Alec of ‘distracting’ her as he playfully cut into the interview a few times.

She glanced over at the actor and said, ‘Oh my God, you’re distracting me right now. Now you’re just doing that, why? Why are you distracting me?’

Baldwin apologized and explained, ‘I’m just captivated by your beauty,’ as she pointed out again that he was ‘distracting’ her.

The cable network has yet to announce a second season renewal for The Baldwins, but Baldwin teased to Us Weekly: ‘She’ll be back.’

Hilaria and daughter Carmen are scheduled to promote their newly-published skincare guide Glowing Up: Recipes to Rock Your Natural Beauty on TODAY this Thursday 7-9am with food features correspondent Marcus Samuelsson.

Baldwin will soon be releasing a motherhood guide titled Manual Not Included, which hits shelves May 6.

The Boston-born culture vulture — whose Spanish scandal unfolded in 2020 — has remained defiantly ‘culturally-fluid’ and ‘multi’ after duping the world as far back as 2011 that she was ‘born and raised in Majorca, Spain.’
