On March 29, 2024, the DeLand Police Department in Florida received a frantic call about a missing child. The 3-year-old boy had wandered away from his home, disappearing into the dense woods nearby. Officers quickly mobilized, bringing K9 officer Midnight to assist in the search.

Midnight, a highly trained police dog, picked up the boy’s scent using a blanket provided by the family. Guided by his handler, Corporal Clark, the dog meticulously tracked through thick vegetation and challenging terrain. After nearly 45 minutes, Midnight successfully located the child, who was unharmed but scared.
