Reba Is Back on the Small Screen
Reba McEntire is so much more than a country singer. The 69-year-old Oklahoma native starred in six seasons of her self-titled sitcom from 2001 to 2007. Fans probably best remember Reba for its theme song, “I’m a Survivor.”
Now, Reba is returning to your television this October to star in another sitcom, NBC’s Happy’s Place. The country legend plays Bobbie, a woman who discovers that she has a half-sister after inheriting her late father’s restaurant. And the Queen of Country will once again sing her own theme song.
“It’s written, and we’re recording it at the end of this month,” McEntire told members of the TV press during a promotional event. “We’ll see if you like it.”
