Kanye West’s crumbling $78m real estate empire revealed as decrepit Calabasas ranch’s roof collapses in new aerial pics

KANYE West’s multi-million dollar real estate empire is literally collapsing as exclusive photos obtained by The U.S. Sun show derelict properties with roofs caved in, piles of garbage, and a burned-out lot.

Kanye, 47, is not the most experienced real estate investor, having lost millions on many of his purchases in recent years, including his disastrous Malibu beach house project, all while he spends thousands of dollars a week living in a five-star hotel.

The U.S. Sun can confirm he still owns at least eight homes, but most of them have been neglected, and he has allegedly skirted paying the property taxes.

Exclusive aerial photographs show Kanye’s Calabasas home is now falling apart, with the roof caved in and debris surrounding the building.

Zillow estimates the Los Angeles property is worth around $3.1 million, but it needs extensive work.

The rapper bought the ranch-style home, close to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, in 2018 for a little over $2 million.

He reportedly invested an additional $4 million to acquire 300 acres of land surrounding the property.

It was once used as his headquarters for his Sunday Service church events and Donda Academy, his ill-fated Christian private school, but it hasn’t been used in years.

Sections of the roof are now missing, while other parts have completely collapsed.

More shocking images of the property reveal the crumbling walls and exposed beams.

TAX DEBT

Kanye has not paid taxes on the six-bed, six-and-a-half-bath home since 2022 and owes more than $90,000, according to documents.

He has a second home in Calabasas, a three-bed, four-bath property, which he got in his divorce from Kim, and remains empty.

Kanye also owns a three-bed, four-bath condo in Calabasas worth $2,185,400, which is also thought to be vacant.

They are not the only empty buildings in his property portfolio, since he constantly switches plans and moves on to the next project.

The U.S. Sun revealed this week that Kanye’s $1.5 million church building in the San Fernando Valley burned to the ground after neighbors warned he needed to take care of it.

Kanye, also known as Ye, purchased the one-story home in January 2023 from Cornerstone Christian Church.

Thousands petitioned to try and stop him from leasing or buying space from the church.

After he spent more than a million on the building behind the main site, he moved on and left it empty.

Residents were left worried about squatters breaking in, and photographs showed it with boarded-up windows and rusty shopping carts on the driveway.

There is now nothing left of the property after it burned down.

Unsightly fencing surrounds the site covered in graffiti, along with yellow caution tape which has been up since late last year.

Authorities confirmed the fire occurred shortly after 12:45 am on October 14, 2024, and said it was a possible act of arson.

There were no injuries reported but one nearby residence did sustain superficial damage from the intense heat and flames, which firefighters battled for 30 minutes, according to KCAL News.

The U.S. Sun revealed Kanye was slapped with a lien on the home in December for outstanding taxes from 2024 amounting to around $19,525.

Kanye’s $6.7 million former Yeezy headquarters has also been left empty for months after he tore the roof off and construction work was put on hold.

The 7,400-square-foot space was bought through his Oxpaha LLC company, a Delaware firm, according to deed documents.

A source close to Kanye previously told The U.S. Sun that the building was set to be a “multi-purpose venue.”

It was initially being used for Yeezy fashion shows and events.

Construction workers were then seen at the site as the roof was torn off, but the project was quickly shut down months later, and it has remained the same since last year.

He’s accumulated arrears of more than $160,00 in property taxes since he bought it, and is being stung with $1,435-a-month penalties.

Despite owning so many properties, Kanye and his wife Bianca Censori have spent most of their married life living in luxury hotels over the past two years.

They are currently said to be staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, where rooms cost around $1,000 a night.

Meanwhile, Kanye also appears to have lost interest in his ranch in Wyoming, which has three parcels of land worth around $25 million.

He bought the vast Monster Lake Ranch, renaming it West Lake Ranch, for $14.5 million in 2019.

The parcels have been delinquent since 2024 and owe a combined $13,215 in taxes, with penalty costs unknown.

Kanye and his wife Bianca Censori, 30, purchased a $35 million abode in Beverly Hills late last year, which has 20,000 square feet of space.

The huge property has a stunning outdoor pool and tennis court and sits on a seven-acre plot of land.

Kanye’s mansion also includes an entertainment pavilion connected to the main house, plus a pool house and a gazebo.

But despite owning the stunning property, they do not appear to be living there full-time.

Photographs obtained by The U.S. Sun showed piles of trash outside on the lawn and driveway on Valentine’s Day last month amid divorce rumors, which his rep has denied.
