‘PLEASE MR. HANNITY’ Sean Hannity jokes song begging him to stay in New York was not enough as he confirms move to ‘free state’
SEAN Hannity has reminisced on a song begging him to stay in New York now that he has officially moved to Florida.
On Thursday, Hannity recalled a song that John Stuart on The Daily Show produced with actor Nathan Lane and the Jersey Boys.

The comedic song was made in 2014, when Hannity first mentioned interest in moving to Florida.
In addition to the celebrities, it included statements from seemingly everyday New Yorkers who promised that they would change their ways to get him to stay in New York.
The Comedy Central spoof starts with a heartfelt promise from Nathan Lane that New York will change for Hannity, leading to New Yorkers saying “Stay,” “We can’t lose you,” and “We need you.”
The requests became a bit more comedic as the sketch went on
Hannity posted his recent show featuring the throwback skit to Instagram.
“I will lose my accent if you stay,” said a man driving a taxi in the song.
“We’ll make ‘Sex and the City’ tours ‘Sean and the City’ tours,” said a woman.
A group of men said, “If you stay, we’ll cut off our hoodies.”
“We’re in love, but we’ll marry women instead,” said a man holding the hand of another man.
The song was catchy but apparently wasn’t convincing enough as New Yorkers had to say goodbye to the Fox News host this year.
Hannity announced his move to the Sunshine State during a January 3 broadcast.
“If anybody is listening to this program for any length of time, been threatening now to do this for quite a while, but we are now beginning our first broadcast [from] my new home, and that is in the free state of Florida,” Hannity said.
“I’m finished. New York, New York, goodbye.
“Florida, Florida, if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
“But it’s great to be here.”
Hannity’s fans expressed their excitement about his transition to Florida in the comments of his Instagram post.
“Excellent decision, I live in Miami, FL, so I gladly welcome you to Florida the sunshine state,” one commenter said.
“Welcome to the best State in the Nation,” a second person wrote
“Best of luck in Florida. A great state,” a third comment said.
The Fox News host is now officially a resident of Florida.
