Kevin Costner was spotted sitting next to Cher at SNL50: The Anniversary Special — just two days after his epic reaction to her live performance in New York City.

Cher, 78, was one of a number of esteemed artists who performed at “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” at Radio City Music Hall on Friday, Feb. 14. And while her rendition of “If I Can Turn Back Time” brought the star-studded crowd to its feet, per Newsweek, Costner seemed particularly thrilled and emotional.

As the camera panned to the audience during the song, the Yellowstone alum, 70, could be seen clutching the sides of his head, seemingly in total awe of the 78-year-old music legend.

Costner and Cher were then seen sitting side-by-side in the audience during the celeb-packed Sunday, Feb. 16 anniversary special during a comedic Q&A led by former castmembers Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Costner sported a black button-up and black blazer, while Cher donned a plunging crystal black gown and blonde updo.

The sighting occurred when fellow audience member Ryan Reynolds stood up to ask Fey, 54, and Poehler, 53, if the cones from the class “Cone Heads” sketches were “edible” (Fey replies no, they are not, and that they are likely toxic).

Other familiar faces spotted in the audience during the bit included Drew Barrymore, Blake Lively, Conan O’Brien, Anya Joy-Taylor, David Letterman and more.

The live event marks the culmination of a three-day celebration of the show’s 50 years on the air, as well as its legacy in American comedy.

Saturday Night Live first premiered on October 11, 1975, and has since become known as a cultural touchstone. It has also launched the careers of countless comedians, actors, and musicians.

SNL50: The Anniversary Special airs Sunday, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock.
