Heiress, singer, businesswoman, DJ, pet product developer and reality TV star Paris Hilton recently post her gorgeous home in the horrific Malibu fire and since this tragic event Hilton, age 43, has bene giving back to the community she knows and loves in countless ways.
One of these ways has been by fostering an adorable dog named ZuZu she had taken into her home after the dog’s family unfortunately had to surrender her after their home was destroyed in the wildfires. Hilton recently shared an adorable video of her kids and Zuzu and it’s just too cute for words.
The sweet video was shared to the @ParisHilton TikTok account and watching how much this adorable family loves this little pup is just everything. People agree and one person commented, “I think ZuZu should stay forever with you!” and Hilton herself replied, “Same.” So maybe we will see that ZuZu has all ready found their forever home!
Only time will tell and we will keep you updated but ZuZu really seems to fit in so perfectly! Thank you to Paris for taking such lovely care of this sweet pup and encouraging your followers to help both the people and pets of California where they can.
Why You Should Foster a Dog
Fostering is such a wonderful thing to do Shutterstock/Bogdan Sonjachnyj
You’ll be saving a life. Fostering a dog provides temporary shelter and care for a homeless or abandoned animal, giving them a chance to thrive in a home away from the shelter, thus freeing up space for another pup-in-need. By fostering, you directly contribute to saving lives and reducing overcrowding in animal shelters.
You’ll help socialize a dog. Dogs that are in shelters don’t get enough interaction with humans as they need to, no matter how fantastic the shelter is. Shelters do their best, but there isn’t enough time or manpower to give every dog the attention they deserve. Welcoming a shelter dog into your home, even temporarily, gives them the affection and care they need to help reduce kennel stress.
The benefits of fostering just don’t apply to these dogs either, fostering will give you so much joy knowing that you not only gave a dog some time out from the shelter with all the love and care they deserve, but you also helped prepare them to go to their forever home.
Please contact your local Humane Society, animal shelter or breed specific rescue in your town to learn about fostering opportunities in your own community. There are so many dogs and cats and puppies and kittens who can use your help today.
