Clark was supporting two teams in one day

CAITLIN CLARK showed that she values her friends and family just as much as her basketball after showing support for her boyfriend and his family.

Clark, 23, is dating Butler Bulldogs assistant coach Connor McCaffery, 26, and spent the day splitting her time between her former college teammates and her long-term partner.

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year was in her hometown of Indianapolis on Wednesday to watch her former college side, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and catch up with some familiar faces.

But after being spotted courtside at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse – where she became the all-time NCAA D1 points leader – during Iowa’s 81-54 trouncing of the Wisconsin Badgers, Clark was suddenly nowhere to be seen.

That’s because she had left the game and headed to Hinkle Fieldhouse – home of Butler basketball.

There she watched on as boyfriend Connor coached the team and his younger brother, Patrick McCaffery, played his final college game on Senior Night for the Bulldogs.

Patrick put up 11 points, two assists and five rebounds as the Bulldogs fell to a 91-78 defeat at the hands of the Xavier Musketeers.

It was a huge night for the 24-year-old, who was ending his college career after a turbulent few years riddled with complications.

Patrick transferred to Butler for his final year of eligibility after spending four years with Iowa beforehand.

At just 14 years old, the power forward underwent surgery for a malignant thyroid tumor.

That issue left him sidelined for much of his freshman season for the Hawkeyes.

Clark had to be there to see his final game following his battle to recover and return to the court.

And the Indiana Fever star even had time to get back to Gainbridge Fieldhouse after the conclusion of the Butler game, returning to her stomping ground to see Iowa win and set-up a second round clash with Michigan State in the Big Ten Tournament.

Iowa got the better of the Spartans in a 74-51 victory and will now take on Ohio State next.

As for Clark, she’ll be waiting for the WNBA season to start in May after a sensational first campaign in the league.
